Tip of the Week

If you have an abundance of plums, peaches, nectarines and other fruits, you can easily dry them to preserve the harvest. Thinly slice the fruits and place them on wire trays. On dry days, place the trays in the sun and in a week the fruits will be dry enough to store. In humid weather, youŽll need an electric dryer. For a taste treat, mix different fruits together in a blender, spread the paste on wax paper and dry them into fruit leathers.
